Discover the work of Claudia Carr who takes natural forms found during the course of day-to-day life

and transforms them into otherworldly landscapes, with compositions that are both abstract and recognisable.

The piece above takes a commonplace orange peel and transforms it into a centerpiece. The peel is instantly

Working from direct observation of an orange peel still life, learn about oil painting on board using different

types of brushwork to simplify forms in some areas and add fine detail in others.

All materials provided except for an A4 sketchbook or loose cartridge paper for preparatory sketches and notes.
