Love Our River Day
15th June - 11:00 am - 5:00 pm
Come and join a family-friendly celebration of the wonderful River Windrush as it meanders through the water meadows of Asthall. Stalls and events on the riverside will include:
- An introduction to riverflies
- Water quality testing
- An introduction to flyfishing
- A clay workshop
- Poetry and storytelling
This event is run in collaboration with the Burford Environmental Action Group (BEAGles), Cotswold Rivers Trust and Windrush Against Sewage Pollution.
Price:
This event is free and does not require booking. However donations are welcome at the gate. We have a donation station for cash and card donations.
