Gardening Leave

Come and get your hands dirty in a quintessentially English Manor!  

We are delighted to introduce our first ever Gardening Leave weekend at Asthall Manor. This fully-catered residential weekend will combine practical tuition in nature-friendly growing methods with a chance to relax in our iconic, offbeat Manor, explore the much-loved gardens, and enjoy nutritious vegetarian meals in congenial company. 

Running from the evening of Friday, 15th September to the afternoon of Sunday, 17th September, the weekend will include: 

• Practical tuition and a good dose of intriguing theory with our resident grower, Tim Mitchell.
• An insight into the possibilities and pitfalls of setting up a food-growing enterprise 
• Wildlife walks
• Varied breakfasts, simple lunches and delicious 2 or 3-course vegetarian dinners 
• Yoga 
• Access to Asthall Manor’s 18-acres of garden, meadow and woodland, including use of pool, tennis court and numerous special spots to sit and daydream in. 
• Massage available at extra cost

Price: £400 pp sharing, £430 single occupancy
